Club Notes - 9th June 2008

Seniors

The senior team had their final prep match before the championship this Sunday with a league match against Saint Brendans at Ruislip last Saturday.

It was the final chance for a lot of players to give it their best shot as team manager Paul Coggins decides his best fifteen.

New signings Andy Haynes,(Meath), Michael Maloney,(Clare), Daniel O’Leary,(Kerry) Sean Meehan(fermanagh) and Kevin Downes (Cavan) done their chances no harm with solid displays.

But the most encouraging note in the game was that we finished the match with ten English born players on the pitch and who played a big part in the 1-13 to 1-7 victory.

This Sunday all roads lead to Ruislip as we lock horns with Neasden Gaels in defence of the championship, all support welcome.
