Club Notes - 13th October 2008

Seniors

All roads lead to Ruislip this Sunday 19th as we lock horns with Neasden Gaels in the London senior championship decider.

After a slow start to the campaign the Gaels have started to find their feet and hopefully peaking at the right time under the guidance of manager Paul Coggins and Michael Kelly. Throw-in for the game is at 3.30pm and the club asks all its members to turn out in force to cheer on the lads in the defence of our title. 

Reserves

The reserve team have a fixture down for Saturday 18th against Saint Brendans in the championship semi final in Greenford 2.30pm 

Minors

The Minor team’s championship semi final against the Parnells last Saturday had to be abandoned due to a lack of light. The rescheduled game takes place on Sunday at Ruislip 12 noon  

U16’s

The U16’s meet Glen Rovers of Hertfordshire in Watford on Saturday at 3.00pm in the Great Britain Championship Semi Final please come and support the lads, Good Luck to Noel & the Boys. 

Presentation Night

The Minor board presentation night will take place next Friday the 17th October at the club house, those being honoured on the evening will be Nursery, U10’s,  U12’s,  U14’s boys & U14’s girls at 7.30pm 

Mass

There will be an anniversary mass for our late chairman Andy Duffy on Sunday 19th October 7pm in the visitation church, Greenford. 

Hurling

Congrats to Fergus Mc Mahon, Kevin Downes and Dan Mc Cusker on reaching the London senior hurling championship final after their team Robert Emmetts defeated Father Murphys last Sunday 

Gala Dinner

The club are holding a Gala dinner dance in the Crown Moran hotel, Cricklewood on Saturday 8th November to honour our first senior championship winning team of 1983. The event is a black tie affair with tickets priced at £65 or a table of ten can be booked for £650.
