Club Notes - 26th January 2009

Minor Board

The Minor board will hold their AGM on Friday 6th February in the clubhouse with a

7.30pm start, all parents and members are asked to attend as the competition hots up for new positions, with the latest word out that Seamus Carr and Sean Mc Hugh have been seen out canvassing on the streets of Greenford and Ruislip!!

London Seniors

Best wishes to club stalwart Maurice “smiley” Carr on his new role as selector of the London Senior football team, Maurice has an abundance of experience after winning five championships with the club as manager and he will bring a great deal to the team, we wish him well. 

County Board

Congratulations to clubman Seamus Carr on his new position as Irish officer on the county board. Seamus who hails from the village of Carrick in the Gaeltacht area of

South west Donegal can be seen regular on his trips home drinking in the local bars and speaking the Irish language with his good buddies Paul Hegarty and PJ Mc Ginley. With the GAA celebrating its 125 year history this year we expect him to be a busy man and we wish his well.
