Former Clare and Ireland star Odhran O'Dwyer has emerged as a major injury worry for Kilmurry-Ibrickane's All-Ireland club football quarter-final against Tir Chonaill Gaels in three weeks' time.

The 34-year-old full forward sustained a knee injury in training on Sunday and is awaiting the results of a scan to discover the severity of the problem.Kilmurry-Ibrickane can ill-afford to be without O'Dwyer, who was one of the stars of their surprise Munster club championship success. The winners of the All-Ireland quarter-final in Ruislip, which will be televised live on TG4, will progress to a semi-final meeting with Leinster champions Portlaoise in February.
