Sunday 24th January with coverage starting at 1:30pm
The TG4 cameras will be present in Ruislip on Sunday for live coverage of the AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship Quarter-Final between the Clare and Munster champions, Kilmurry-Ibrickane and London kingpins, Tir Chonaill Gaels. Throw-in will be at 2:00pm. The winners will play Portlaoise in the semi-final next month while Corofin (Galway) meet St.Gall s (Antrim) in the other semi-final.
Kilmurry-Ibrickane head into the quarter-final after winning a very competitive Munster championship in which they beat Dromcollogher-Broadford (Limerick), Stradbally (Waterford) and Kerins O Rahillys (Kerry). They conceded a total of just 0-17 in those three games which is a remarkable tribute to their defensive solidity.
Tir Chonail Gaels are bidding for a semi-final place for a third successive year. They lost to Corofin (Galway) by 2-7 to 0-6 last year and to Crossmaglen Rangers (Armagh) by 0-10 to 0-6 in 2008. TG4 s live coverage will be presented by Micheál ó Domhnaill with commentary and analysis by Mac Dara Mac Donncha and Coman Goggins.
Ladbrokes Head of GAA, Neil Walsh. "Our GAA desk has seen a massive flow of money on the London champions from an initial quote of 17/2 in December, to 11/2 a week ago and now we go 4/1 on Tir Chonaill Gaels. A lot of punters seem to think this could be Tir Chonaill Gaels time and their performances against Corofin and Crossmaglen over the last 2 years make them a very interesting bet at 4/1."
Ladbrokes.com Irish Territory Manager, Bryan Coleman said: Our involvement with Tir Chonaill Gaels has come at a great time for us and the club. Ladbrokes.com has a great heritage of supporting GAA from both sides of the Irish sea and I believe 2010 could be the year the London winners go on and win their first ever AIB All Ireland Club Championships quarter final .
