Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 7th February 2010

The club will hold the AGM on Sunday 7th March in the clubhouse with a 3pm start. Everybody is welcome to attend this very important date in the club calendar.

Denis Boyle

The club would like to pass on our best wishes to club treasurer Denis Boyle who has been in hospital for over a week after falling ill.

Denis is in Charing Cross hospital, north A ward, 9th floor and has thanked everyone who has visited and sent their best wishes. We all hope to see Denis back at the club soon were he has been a rock running the lottery.

It’s good to see club stalwart Seamus Carr back in the papers after a two week break.

Seamus had a run of seven weeks being caught on camera (sticking his head in) rubbing shoulders with the cream of Irish celebrities. So he’s back in routine with club photographer Brendan Vaughan monitoring his every move!!

Three Peaks/ Ireland Cycle

Some members of the club are taking part in two charity challenges this year with the Three Peaks mountain climb and Malin head to Mizen head cycle.

Anyone wishing to take part in these can get more information from club secretary Stephen Mc Loughlin on 07788 723922

Best Wishes

The club pass on our best wishes to senior footballers Brian Mc Brearty (knee) and Kevin Mc Fadden (nose) who both go for operations this week, and also to Noel Burke who had his nose put back to the middle of his face last week.
