Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 1st March 2010

AGM

The club AGM takes place this Saturday 6th March, 4.30pm in the clubhouse.

All members are requested to arrive promptly to take their seats as we review the year and go to battle for the nominating of a new committee. 

Step Down

The club would like to pass on its sincere thanks to senior manager Paul Coggins who has decided to step down from his role after three successful years at the helm.

Paul has guided the club to three successive championships and cannot be credited enough for his efforts, all involved in the club are hoping he will throw his hat into the ring for a position on the committee and keep everybody on their toes! 

Saint Patricks Weekend Entertainment 
Date13th March 2010 Venue: Clubhouse/Tir Chonaill Park Time2.30pm 
Underage challenge match: TCG v Tbc. Saint Nauls pipe band from Donegal will be bringing their 60 piece band over for the London St Patricks day parade with a special performance at Tir Chonaill Park. Irish Dancers will be providing the indoor entertainment with live music afterwards with Irish stew available all day. Contact Adrian at the club for more details 0208 8643494

Presentation Evening
Date17th April 2010, Venue: TCG Clubhouse Time7.30pm. The club will be presenting medals to the successful senior double winners, reserve league winners and Minor championship winners of 2009.Awards will be handed out to Players of the year and clubman of the year. 
There will be a special guest on the night (Tbc) Admission is £15 which covers a hot buffet with live music and disco. Tickets can be purchased from the club on 0208 8643494

Cheltenham
There are still a few places available for the Cheltenham races on Tuesday 16th March. Cost of £55 covers breakfast, return coach trip, refreshments and a buffet, contact Adrian for more details on 0208 8643494
