Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 22nd March 2010
The senior team have their first fixture of the new season this Saturday 27th March with a Tipperary cup match against Neasden Gaels at Greenford 4pm.
Maurice Carr has been confirmed as the new senior manager for the coming season.
With fifty years of experience behind him, Maurice will prove a valuable asset to the team with this his third appointment as manager.
Everyone at the club wishes him well as he goes out to carry on the great work that Paul Coggins started three years ago.
The club are holding a fundraising Race night this Saturday 27th March at the Three wishes bar in North Harrow with an 8.30pm start.
All members are asked to support this event; race cards can be obtained from the clubhouse or from Secretary Steve Mc Loughlin.
The club will have their annual presentation evening on Saturday 17th April in the Clubhouse with medals presented to all of the successful teams from last year.
There will also be awards handed out to the players of the year and clubman of the year. Tickets can be purchased from the clubhouse priced at £15 which covers a hot buffet and entertainment.
The club had a very enjoyable day at the Cheltenham festival last Tuesday although the winners were far and few between.

On Saturday 15th May the club head for the hills of Donegal were we have been kindly invited to play Killybegs in the opening of their new pitch.
