Club Notes - 3rd Sept

Senior Football

The Senior team had a good work out last Saturday against the Sean Mc Dermotts in their preparation for the Championship semi final against the Parnells.

Next up is a League match against St Brendans at Ruislip on Saturday 4pm were a win is vital to keep up our challenge for the title.

Reserve Football

The Reserve team started off their defence of the Championship with a convincing win over the Parnells in the Quarter final at Greenford. Missing a few regulars we had to dig deep into our resources and draft in the ancient Maurice Carr and Paul Coggins.

JP O’Donnell, Kevin Mc Fadden, Conner Burke and Ricky Williamson all put in good performances but it was the nagging Carr who put a damper on the result by scoring a hat-trick of goals and cementing his place for the next round.

The Semi final is on this Sunday at Ruislip against St Brendans with a 12-30pm throw in
