Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 19th April 2010

The senior team got their league campaign off to a winning start last Saturday against the KKG with a convincing 1-20 to 1-4 score line.

It was a tremendous all-round team performance with special mention for Niall Travers, Declan Alcorn, Liam Gavaghan and man of the match David Mc Greevy.

The reserve had a walkover against the same opposition.

Our newly formed junior team went down in a close encounter against the Shalloe Pearses at Greenford on Sunday. In a closely contested game which was in the balance until the final minute, the more experienced Pearses came through with a 2-11 to 2-7 win. Best on the day were Gerard Geraghty, Sean Butler and Clive Mills.
