10 September 2010 The semi-finals of the John Reddington London Senior Football Championship and the Intermediate and Junior deciders all take place on a bumper day of action at Ruislip on Sunday. The meeting between St Kiernan's and Neasden Gaels in the first senior semi gets the ball rolling at 12 noon. Neasden have come up short to Tir Chonaill Gaels in each of the last two years and will be aiming to book a place in the final for the third successive year when they take on a St Kiernan's side seeking a first ever place in the senior showpiece. The second event on the card is the Toureen Mangan London JFC final which sees Cuchulainns and Garryowen meet in a repeat of the 2008 Junior decider. Cuchulainns won on that occasion and were also victorious when they met Garryowen in the group stages earlier this year so they will be favourites to take top rank again. The third game sees Round Towers and Moindearg face off for the IFC crown, with Round Towers hoping to complete a quick return to the senior ranks following their relegation a year ago. Finally, three-in-a-row senior champions Tir Chonaill Gaels take on Parnells in the second senior semi-final. While Tir Chonaill could only manage second place in their group this time around, Parnells go into the game in confident mood following their own progress through the early stages. However, Gaels have the pedigree to squeeze out a Parnells outfit which is hoping for a first senior final spot in 18 years. Meanwhile, the Warwickshire SFC final also takes place on Sunday, with Sean McDermotts meeting St Barnabas at Pairc na hEireann. The game gets under way at 3pm.
