Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes 13th September 2010

Seniors:
Our three year term as county champions came to an end last Sunday at Ruislip were
we went down to the Parnells by a score of 0-8 to 0-7
In a very tight game we had our chances to open up some daylight between ourselves
and the opposition but failed to convert them and paid the ultimate price.
A big thank you to all of the players and management for putting in the effort over the
season, and to many who have been going flat out for the last three years.
We have one league fixture remaining and a win can put us in contention for the
league final and finish the season on a high.
There are no fixtures this weekend with the All-Ireland final taking place and we wish
our former player James Mc Cartan the best of luck with Down.

Condolences:
The club would like to pass on our condolences to Brendan and Maureen Vaughan on
the loss of Brendan’s mother Mary last week at her home in Carrigart, Co Donegal.
And also to Maurice Carr on the loss of his auntie, Mairead Stokes at her home in
Kilcar, Co Donegal, may they rest in peace.
