22 October 2010 Roscommon native Paul Coggins has emerged as the front runner to take up the role of London senior football manager for 2011. Coggins managed Tir Chonaill Gaels to four London championships in recent years and he is believed to be the only candidate left running for the post after Mattie Maher opted out of the race. During the 90s Coggins lined out for the Exiles before being involved with London's junior squad and he is thought to be the county board's number one choice all along. London begin their league campaign with a home fixture against Kilkenny and they will be hoping to start the season with a win.
