Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 14th February 2011

Well done to the lads that represented the club against Roscommon on Saturday in
Ruislip in the National league R2. Although, they were beaten 1 14 to 0 07 Damien
Donnellan, Austin Concannon, Stephen Boyle, Liam Gavaghan, David McGreevy
and John Collins all made a good account of themselves. Also to Connor Beirne who
made a half time appearance for Roscommon and got a chance to catch up with fellow
Elphin clubman John Collins.
The game also give the chance for the Roscommon public to get to view the
managerial skills of “Ros” man Paul Coggins with it being only a matter of time
before he is head hunted!

The club AGM will take place on Saturday 26th February at 5pm in the club house.
All members are requested to attend this very important meeting and ask any
Questions or put forward motions on club matters.

Presentation Night:
A presentation night will take place in the club house on Saturday 26th March to
Present medals to the winning teams of 2010 and also players of the year and
Clubman of the year.
A hot buffet will be served along with live music, for more details check the club

The club will make its annual pilgrimage to the Cheltenham festival on Tuesday 15th
March for the champion hurdle day.
This club fixture has being going now for well over 12 years thanks to the huge
efforts of Adrian Byrne, anyone wishing to attend can contact the clubhouse on
