Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes 28th February 2011

The club held its AGM last Saturday at the clubhouse with a good attendance present,
many thanks for all who attended with a special mention for Patsy and Pam Mc
Govern who made the long journey from Cambridgeshire.

Club Membership for the year is set at £30, payments to be made to either Paddy
Callaghan or Stephen McLoughlin.

Andy Duffy Memorial Cup
This Saturday 5th March the club play host to St Nauls GAA Club from Donegal
with a game at 3.30pm against our senior team for the right to win the Andy Duffy
Memorial cup, all members are requested to show their support on the day.

Presentation Night:
A presentation night will take place in the club house on Saturday 26th March to
Present medals to the winning teams of 2010 and also players of the year and
Clubman of the year. A hot buffet will be served along with live music, for more
details check the club Website.

The club will make its annual pilgrimage to the Cheltenham festival on Tuesday 15th
March for the champion hurdle day.
This club fixture has being going now for well over 12 years thanks to the huge
efforts of Adrian Byrne, anyone wishing to attend can contact the clubhouse on 0208
8643494. Costs for the trip are £60 which will cover return coach journey, breakfast at clubhouse, refreshments on coach and grandstand ticket.
