Tir Chonaill Gaels Minor Board Notes - 18th April 2011

Presentation Night 
Thank you to all who attended our recent presentation evening at the club with congratulations to all those players who received awards for the 2010 Season as follows:

U8's - Player of the Year: Rhyse, Managers Player of the Year: Billy Gallagher
U10s - Player of the Year: Dylan McGovern, Most Improved Player: Patrick Outtrim
U14's  -Players Player of the Year: Ryan Callaghan, Most Improved Player of the Year: James Coghan
TCG Girls - Players Player: Ciara Rice, Most Improved Player: Mevagh Vaughan
All Britain Feile U13 Boys/U14 Girls
A very successful All Britain Feile was held at TCG on Saturday, with 21 boys teams and 3 girls teams playing. Congratulations to successful teams from Eire Og, Co Carlow; St Patricks, Gloucestershire and TCG, who won the Cup, Shield and Plate respectively. Well done to the London CDAs and everyone else involved in the organisation and running of the event which was a great advert for underage GAA in the UK and London. Special thanks to the London Young Whistlers for an excellent job refereeing all of the games, we look forward to seeing them at more tournaments. Well done to our own U13 boys on winning the Plate and the girls who assisted Tara for the day. Lastly a huge thank you from both TCG underage management and the Eire Og, Carlow management to the host families who looked after the visiting players so well. 
U13 Peter McGlynn Memorial Tournament U13 (Monday 2nd May)
The club will be holding the annual Peter McGlynn Tournament on the Bank Holiday Monday and hope to have 8-12 Under 13 teams competing on the day.  This competition will be run as a 9 aside (with 3 subs). 

May Half Term 3 day Cul Camp 
(Tue, May 31 - Thu, Jun 2 (10am-3pm). £30 per child.
For children ages 5-12. Run by TCG and the London Community Development Coaches at TCG GAA Club. Come along and enjoy 3 days for fun filled games during the half term at our camp run by qualified coaches. Price includes a full Cul Camp kit and bag. Numbers will be limited so please apply early to avoid disappointment. Contact Judy ASAP on 07973 704947. 
No Underage training on Good Friday, Apr 22. will resume after the Easter break as follows:
U12/U14 back Wednesday April 27th.
U8/10 & TCG Girls back Friday April 29th.
Birthday Congratulations
