Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 9th May 2011

Results:

The senior team lost out to Neasden last Sunday in the opening round of the league played at Ruislip.

A nightmare first half seen the Gaels concede four goals and go in at half time trailing by ten points. A vast improvement in the second half seen the boys putting the opposition under pressure for long spells and reducing the gap to three points before the final whistle sounded.

Best on the day were Martin Mc Coy, Brendan Friel, David Mc Greevy and Clive Mills.

The Reserve team beat Fulham Irish in the opening game of the season while the junior team lost to St Anthonys of Reading.

Memorial Mass - Leonard and Mary Byrne RIP

Date: 15 May 2011

Venue: St John Fisher Catholic Church, 41/42 Langdale Gardens, Perivale, UB6 8DQ , Mass at 8pm.

A memorial mass will be held for the Byrne family following the sudden death of their parents, Leonard and Mary Byrne (RIP), Main Street, Cashel, Glencolmcille, Co. Donegal. St John Fisher Church is situated along the A40 (Western Avenue) next to the Hoover Building
