Tir Chonaill Gaels Minor Board Notes - 16th May 2011

Well done to the U8 and U10s who took part in the Blitz at Thomas McCurtains on Saturday.
A big Thank You to John Lynch for taking the teams.

U12 We have Blitzes the next two weekends as follows:
Sat, May 21, from 12.30pm at TCG.
(Parnells, St Claret's and St Kiernan's participating).
Sat, May 28, from 12.30pm at Parnells, (Northwick Park, Harrow)
The U14 team had a good start to the season on Friday evening last in Greenford, when they overcame a very well drilled North London Shamrock by 4-7 to 3-2.  Despite the scoreline the team had to work hard to secure the vital league points. For the Gaels - Kieran Clarke [0-3], Nick Williams, Dermot Drake, and Conor Callaghan [0-2] played well, with Liam O Regan [0-1], Jack Gannon, and Jack Flanagan [4-1] being heavily involved in driving the team over the winning line.  Well done to all the players involved on the night. Next up is a league match v Tara on Tuesday 17th in Greenford at 7.15pm followed by a 1st Round Championship encounter with Parnells at the weekend. The Team, Scorers and Subs v North London Shamrocks: N.Williams, C.McCarthy, M Drake, D Drake, K Clarke [0-3], J Gannon, L Casey, L O Regan [0-1], J Flanagan [4-1], C Deehan, J Murphy, J Holland, T Murphy, C Callaghan [0-2], C Keanny.
