Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 23rd May 2011

The reserve team got back to winning ways last weekend with a comprehensive victory over the Parnells at Northwick park.
It was a good all round performance from the Gaels with special mention for Philip Butler, Patrick Flynn, Kevin Downes, Owen Megeean and debutant Carl Elliot. Final score TCG 3-19, Parnells 1-6.

The senior team are out this Thursday with a Conway cup match against Parnells at Greenford, throw-in is at 7.30pm.

School Disco:
The social committee are holding a school disco in the clubhouse on Saturday 4th June with a £5 admission fee. Everyone is very welcome to dress up in their old school uniforms and dance the night away to the old classics. Strictly over 18s.

Pitch Opening:
The club are honoured to have been invited to officially open the new pitch belonging to Rodger Casements of Coventry on Saturday 25th June. There will be a coach going from the club with an overnight stay in the midlands planned, any club members wishing to be a part of the occasion can contact Secretary Stephen Mc Loughlin for more details.

Best Wishes:
The club would like to pass on our best wishes to former player Connor Beirne who is getting married next weekend to Catriona Breenan in Roscommon.
Also to former player Dermot Gordon who became a dad for a third time after his wife Mercedes gave birth to a baby girl  last Friday, 

London v Mayo:
This Sunday all roads lead to Ruislip were former manager Paul Coggins leads his troops into battle against Mayo in the Connaught championship.
We wish Paul and all of the Gaels players in the squad the best of luck.
