Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes 30th May 2011

County Team
Obviously, the first thing that needs to be done is to congratulate Paul Coggins, his management team and all his players on a great display at the weekend. All TCG players that were part of the day (Mark Gottsche, David McGreevey, Marty McCoy, Austin Concannon, Liam Gavighan, John Collins, Stevie Boyle and Kevin Downes) have to be applauded for their great efforts. We hope you continue to put in the hard work and hopefully you get your rewards in the qualifiers on the 25th June. Well done lads!!!

The Juniors are up on Sunday in the first round of the Junior Championship in Ruislip at 1pm against St Joes. We wish Brian Corry and Michael Cunningham and their players all the best. We would ask as many of the club members to go out and support the lads in this game.
Reminder; Club membership (£30) is still due and all new players I need 2 passport photos and copy of passport or driving licence for London registration.
Saturday 4th June: School Disco in the clubhouse starting at 8pm. All uniforms are acceptable and for those that don't have one, don't worry come along anyway. Should be a good nights craic.
Coventry 25th June:
Just a reminder that the senior team is off to Coventry to officially open the new Roger Casements pitch and we are asking all players to please make themselves available for this game. We intend to stay the night and help them celebrate this great day for their club. Please let me know your availability.

We are also asking all members to please support the club lotto, even if its only 1 or 2 tickets. This is the only source of income that keeps the football club a float. It helps us provide food and phisio for all players and generally covers all day to day running costs. So please support the club lotto. Tickets available from clubhouse of do it on-line at www.tirchonaillgaels.com

Wedding Bells:
Finally, I want to take this opportunity on wishing Conor Beirne and his wife to be Catriona Brennan all the best, who are getting married this Saturday in Elphine, Roscommon. We hope they have a great life together from everybody at TCG.
