Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 18th July 2011

The senior team played St Kiernans last week in the Conway cup semi final at Greenford. Leading by two points with five minutes remaining the game had to be abandoned due to a neck injury to the St Kiernans goalkeeper after a collision.

The club pass on our best wishes to the injured player and hope he makes a speedy recovery. Best on the day were Brian Collins, Marty Mc Coy, John McGrath and Liam Gavaghan. Score TCG 1-9, St Kiernans 0-10 (Match to be replayed)

The senior team have a league match on Sunday 24th July against KKG in Greenford.

Our junior team have an important championship match against Shalloe Pearses also on Sunday in Greenford. For start times please check the club website or local papers.

Support is very much welcome for both games.

Frank Glynn:

Our very own bionic man, entrepreneur daredevil Frank Glynn has broke the boundaries yet again on his superbike after completing a Tour de France stage over the Etape Mountains last weekend. He completed the race in just under 10 hours in brutal conditions, well done.

Any club members with any info or photos connected to the club can have them put on the website by contacting any committee members. You can now find TCG on facebook.
