Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 5th September 2011

Seniors:
The senior team got back to winning ways last Saturday against St Kiernans in the league at Greenford. After a poor run of results the lads turned on the style to win by a score line of 0-16 to 0-5, best on the day was Mark Gottshe.
Next up is round 3 of the championship against Tara at Ruislip on Saturday 6pm with a high scoring win required if we have any chance of progressing.

Reserves:
The reserve team played their final game in the championship against St Kiernans and came out the wrong side of 1-9 to 0-8 score.
Best on the day were veterans Carr, Mc Loughlin and Coggins who can now save their energies for a final tilt at the league.

Juniors:
The junior team after their disappointing performance in the championship got back to the bread and butter of the league last Sunday against Eire Og of Oxford.
Although missing a number of regulars the lads pushed the Oxford boys all the way and were unlucky to lose by a goal at the end.

Beach Party:
Many thanks to Carol Mc Nicholas and her hard working social committee after another successful event held last bank holiday weekend.
