Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes 5th March 2012

Presentation Night:
The club hosted the 2011 presentation night last Saturday with a good crowd in attendance at Berkeley Avenue. The reserve team collected their medals for retaining the league with a jolly Benny Quinn collecting the cup. Cormac Mc Garvey added his name to the impressive list of names on the Young player of the year cup for his efforts for minor, junior and reserve teams.

Philip Butler continues to improve each season and after collecting the young player last year he has improved ten fold and picked up the junior award for another magnificent year.
Benny Quinn pipped Stocker and Maurice for the Reserve award and made the most of his time on stage to thank anybody who he could remember.
Niall Travers got the votes from his senior team mates for a tremendous year at half back with his mentor Maurice Carr giving him valuable rest time at work.

The biggest cheer of the night went to the popular JP O’Donnell for club man of the year; JP took on more jobs than Mr Muscle with the running of the reserve team, senior selector, Treasurer and entertainment.

Well done to all of the award winners and a big thank you to compeer Stocker Mc Loughlin on a very professional performance and Adrian for the food.

London County Team:
Well done to all of the club members who were involved with the London team against
