Farewell Party:
Last Saturday Night 20th October the club held a party for club president Michael Mc Glynn and his wife Margaret who are retiring back home to Donegal. Mickey and Margaret have being actively involved with the club for well over 30 years and they have decided to call it a day in London to go back to tropical Dunkinnelly. There was a mass in the clubhouse and then afterwards a party to finish the night off.
Michael took to the stage to thank their many friends who had turned up to bid them farewell and said an emotional few words to finish off an enjoyable evening.
All at the club wish them a happy and relaxing retirement and look forward to seeing return each year for the Peter Mc Glynn memorial tournament.

The club have the honour of hosting the Sam Maguire this Friday 26th October and they are also launching the 50 Year Book. The Donegal County Board have being very kind in allowing "Sam Maguire" to visit the clubhouse for those that wish to see, kiss, hold and have photos with it. So please come along and see a unique piece of Gaa history. Also as many know the club has done a 50 year book of the club and its highs and lows. Proceedings start at 8.30pm with live music throughout the night.

Gala Ball:
This Saturday after months of preparation the club will hold its 50th Gala ball for 300 guests at the Crown Moran Hotel. We will be welcoming many members of the original founding members and many ex-players and members from down through the years. It will be a great night of celebrations with the London championship trophy on show along with us displaying many photos from the last fifty years.
All guests are reminded again that it is a black tie affair, champagne reception from 7pm followed by dinner at 8pm. Music will be provided from the Barry Owen band.

Irish World Awards:
The club collected an award last Saturday evening at the Irish World awards night in Hammersmith for celebrating 50 years of GAA in London.
Chairman Tom Mohan collected the award on behalf of the club and thanked the Irish World newspaper for their recognition and a fantastic evening’s entertainment.

Birthday Boy:
The club would like to pass on our best wishes to club legend John Toland on reaching a milestone birthday last weekend. John who turned 50 plus VAT was on a high with the great news that he and wife Mary became grand parents for the first time.
