SFC groups known
24 January 2013
The draw for the senior football championship has taken place.
Under new guidelines the championship will commence in two weeks time, giving teams little time to prepare for the campaign ahead.
The SFC sees two groups with four teams in each. Ironically, last year's four semi finalists are in Group A as defending champions Tir Chonaill Gaels, Kingdom Kerry Gaels, Parnells and St Kiernan's will battle it out for places in the knockout stages.
Group B will consist of Fulham Irish, Neasden Gaels, Round Towers and St Brendan's.
Meanwhile the SHC will be under the same format as last year with all six teams in the one group.
