Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 18th March 2013

Seniors
The seniors start the 2013 campaign with a Tipperary cup game on Saturday 23rd at 4pm in Greenford against Round Towers. The club want to wish the new management team of Eugene Meehan, Brian McBrearty and Declan Alcorn the very best for the season ahead. The seniors and juniors start their first outdoor training sessions this Wednesday night (20th March) in Greenford.

Cheltenham
The club would also like to thank Adrian for organising a great day at Cheltenham last Tuesday and to all those members that went.

St Patrick's Day Parade
THANK YOU to all our young players (and their parents) who braved the elements on Sunday to take part in the London St Patricks Day Parade.  It was a fantastic turn-out which not only got plenty of encouragement from the waiting crowds lining the route but was also awarded the honour of being the Best Youth Group in the Parade. Special mention should go to our driver Mickey Conaghan and our TCG Ladies - Anna, Bernie, Caroline and Maureen - for organising the day.  Hope to see you all again next year!!

Family Bingo Night - Friday 22nd March 2013 - 8.30 p.m. (after Youth training)
The TCG Youth Family Bingo Night takes place this Friday 22nd March with lots of prizes to be won including Easter Eggs.  All are welcome to come along to this fun social event.

Good Luck Adrian
Good Luck wishes go to TCG Club Manager Adrian Byrne as he moves on to pastures new.  The TCG senior and minor Boards would like to wish Adrian all the very best for the future and sincerely thank him for all his help at the club down the years.

Mouth Guards
And finally a reminder that the wearing of Mouth Guards is compulsory for all Youth age groups and players are expected to wear them for both training and match purposes.  We would ask all parents to ensure that their children comply with this rule.  Thank You.

Congratulations
The club would like to congratulate former player Conor Beirne and his wife Caitriona on the arrival of their baby boy Cormac last Saturday in Ireland.

Lottery:
This week’s draw takes place on Thursday 21st March with a jackpot of £3,350 and all results from last week can be got from web-site.
