Well done to all the children who took part in the recent St Kiernans

Hugo, Joel, Finn, Trevor and Vincent for all their hard work coaching
the children.

Well done to all the boys who worked together to beat St Kiernans in an
away match (5-8 to 3-3) at Montrose Park. A fantastic evening to
play/watch gaelic football.  The support from the squad and parents on
the night was very much appreciated.

U16 Football League Tir Chonaill Gaels 2-8 Tara 1-5
TCG U16 team emerged with the 2 pts in an entertaining U16 Football
League Pool A fixture against Tara.  In a game played in terrible
conditions, (wind, rain and hailstones), TCG had to fight hard to
overcome a gallant Tara team.  Conor Deehan, Conor McCarthy and Thomas
Fay showed well in defence for the Gaels, with Martin Drake, Jack
Gannon and Liam O Regan working well between defence and attack. In the
forward line Kieran McMannamon, Brenden Rice and Jack Flanagan
ontributed largely to the win for the Gaels.  Scorers: Jack Flanagan
(1-5) Jack Gannon (0-2) Brendan Rice (1-1).
