’Gaels will be vexed with Cross not afraid’ - Carr
Tir Chonaill Gaels manager Maurice Carr says his charges have no chance against Crossmaglen Rangers if they are afraid of them when the sides clash in today’s (Sunday) All-Ireland club play-off tie in Ruislip.
Carr says the daunting task of taking on the All-Ireland champions should inspire rather than frighten his charges:
"Once Cross come out of the hat, you knew it was going to be a big task, but at the end of the day if you want to be the best you have got to beat the best," Carr opined.
"Their record speaks for itself, but we can’t go out and go into the game afraid. We will be up for it. The lads won’t be fazed by it at all.
"They have all been playing for London at county level and they know the quality that they will be up against."
