Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 9th June 2014

Tipperary Cup:
The senior team claimed the first trophy of the year last Saturday at Ruislip, but unfortunately no game was played as Fulham Irish failed to field a team.
Not the way you want to lift a trophy but this seems to be the trend this year as so many teams are giving walkovers, lets hope things improve in the coming weeks.

Thursday 12th June, RFL, TCG v Fulham Irish @ Greenford 7.30pm.
Saturday 14th June, RFL, TCG v Parnells @ Greenford 4.30pm
Tuesday 17th June, JFL Div3, TCG v Moindearg @ Greenford 7.30pm

Football Championships:
The fixtures for the championship for all of our teams can be found on the club website,
Sunday 6th July, Senior's V Neasden Gaels.
Saturday 5th July, Junior's V Dulwich.

The annual British underage competition takes place at the club on the weekend of 11th - 13th July . 
The event attracts clubs from all over Britain and Ireland with up to two thousand youths expected over the weekend, the club will require many volunteers to help out on the day, please contact secretary Stephen McLoughlin for more details.

Guinness World Record:
At this years ABC tournament at Greenford in July, the Gaels of Britain will again be attempting to break the world record 
at having the most amount of people on a pitch playing a game of football. Club member Michael Kingston is the man who is organising the challenge, more details to follow.
