Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 12th January 2015

Happy New Year:
The club would like to wish all of our members, supporters and sponsors a happy 2015 and hope we will continue off were he left off last year.

Angela McLoughlin RIP:
The club pass on our condolences to club secretary Stephen McLoughlin who sadly lost his mother Angela before Xmas at her home in Armagh.
Stephen would like to thank the current and past members who attended the funeral service and for their kindness at this difficult time.

Dan O’Neill RIP:
The club would like to pass on our condolences to Nancy and the O’Neill family on the death of Dan O’Neill senior
Dan won a national league with mayo in 1954 before going on to win the all-Ireland with Louth in 1957 where he was a guard for seven years.
Dan put pen to paper in 2009 with his book divided loyalties’ in which he tells his life story. 
Dan was a regular visitor to Tir Chonaill Gaels golf day with his son Dan junior. he was one of life’s true gentlemen and will be sadly missed by all who knew him, RIP.   

Saint Bridget Cross Making Night:
The youth board will be hosting their annual St Bridget cross making night in the club house on Friday 30th January at 7.30pm. £5 entry for adults (to include Irish Stew/Soda Bread) - Children Free.  Irish Traditional Music.
