Tir Chonaill Gaels Youth Notes - 9th February 2015

St Brigid's Night
A massive thank you to all who braved a very cold evening to come along to our St Brigid's Cross Making Family Night.  A special word of thanks goes to John and Tina McGinley (representing the Across Charity) who brought along the Donegal Rushes on the night, to Fr John Egan for blessing the rushes and entertaining us later on in the evening, to the London Irish Music School and its young members who provided the wonderful traditional Irish Music, to Lois and Bernie for the delicious homemade stew, to Mary Reilly for the equally delicious soda bread, to Andy and Ryan for looking after us at the bar and to all who donated prizes or bought raffle tickets.  All the money raised goes to the Across Charity who take the sick and disabled to Lourdes by Jumbulance and as a club we are delighted to have been able to help such a worthy cause.
