The Big Interview: Mark Gottsche

Galway man Mark Gottsche joined the club in 2011, he has won 2 championships and played in a Connaught final for London v Mayo. He is currently the secretary of London county board.

What are your hobbies and interests outside the GAA?
Rugby, Soccer, Traveling, Reading, 

What’s your favourite TV programme?
The Big Bang Theory.
Who’s your sporting idol?
Jurgen Klinsmann.

Do you have any unusual pre-match routines or superstitions?

What’s your earliest GAA memory?
First training session in the pouring rain for my home club Oranmore Maree.

What’s your favourite venue?
Pearse Stadium Galway.
If forced to play for another county, who would you choose?

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
Practice left and right every time you train.
If you could choose one footballer from another team to play with TCG who would it be?
Lorcan Mulvey – Fulham Irish.

Who is the most difficult opponent you have ever encountered?

Michael Donnellan.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
Parents – Jurgen & Margaret.
