Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes - 6th July 2015

The seniors beat Round Towers in Mitcham on Sunday by 2 points. Next up is Neasdan on Tuesday, 14th July in Greenford at 7.30pm.

The reserves were beaten by North London Shamrocks on Saturday in Wood Green. A good performance from the lads who will rue conceding a few first half goals. Good performances from debutant Chris Cunningham with Kenny McDaid and Barry McDonagh also showing well.

The juniors hit a goal in the last minute to draw with Garryowen on Sunday. The Gaels were in control but a patch spell at the beginning of the 2nd half allowed Garryowen to take a 4 point lead, the boys showed good character to pull the game back. Good performance from the McGarveys, Dave Kennedy and Gavin McEvoy. They play St Clarets in a tough championship opener on Saturday evening at 7pm. Come out and support the lads.

ABC Championships
The championships commence this Friday until Sunday. Please come down and lend a hand and support one of the biggest events in the club calender. Good luck to all teams involved.

Best Wishes
We wish Tom O'Connor a speedy recovery. He is in Northwick Park  and we hope to see him back down at the clubhouse as soon as he is well. Please keep him in your thoughts.
