Tir Chonaill Gaels Youth Notes - 31st August 2015

Tom O'Connor RIP
Sincere sympathy is extended to Pat Dodd on the recent death of her father Tom  (TCG Youth President).  Tom will be sadly missed not only by the club but also the wider London GAA circle. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Thursday 17th September - 5pm Rosary at Patrick Ryan Funeral Home, 7pm Removal at All Saints Church, Kenton Road.  Friday 18th September - 10am Mass, All Saints Church, Kenton Road and 12 noon - Breakspere Crematorium.  Family Flowers only. Donations can be made if desired to St Luke's Hospice, Kenton.  RIP.

Training
We hope that you all had an enjoyable summer break - training will resume this Friday 4th September at Greenford.

London Irish Vintage Club  Charity Rally and Family Day - Sunday 6th September
The LIVC 5th Annual Charity Rally and Family Day takes place this Sunday at Greenford.  The nominted charities for this years event are: St Luke's Hospice, Acton Homeless Concern, HCPT (The Pilgramage Trust) and Aisling (Return to Ireland Project).  Alongside the display of vintage vehicles there will be live music (with separate Traditional Stage), food vendors, mini-funfair, live coverage of the All-Ireland Hurling Final on the outdoor screen, Grand Raffle and Auction plus much more. Charity Cyle - Cancer Research and Ovarian Cancer 
A number of members from the TCG (including past members) are to cycle through Ulster in aid of Cancer Research and Ovarian Cancer (9th -12th Sept). Starting in Newcastle (Co Down) they will cycle through Down, Armagh, Monaghan, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Derry and eventually finish over in the west at Glencolmcille, Co Donegal. The trip will cover 325 miles in 4 days. TCG Cyclists  include Maurice Carr, Stephen McLoughlin, Frank Glynn, Paul Hegarty, Brian McBrearty, Hugo Sweeney and Declan Alcorn.
