The Senior team played on Saturday in Ruislip against Taras with a scoreline of TCG 1.05 Taras 0.08. Up and coming Senior player Chris Maroney was the goal scorer and great performances from Kevin McFadden, Aaron Somers, and making his senior team debut Kieran Nash, with an excellent game between the sticks. Well done to them all.

Senior, Reserves & U21 Presentation night

On Saturday the Club held its presentation night, which was a big success and very well attended. The Trophies on display were a credit to everyone involved in the club who are proud of last year’s achievements. The following awards were presented.

  • Young Player Of The Year – Kevin McFadden
  • Reserve Team Player Of The Year – Gavin McEvoy
  • Senior Player Of The Year – Shaun Campbell
  • Minor Board Club Person Of The Year – Rick Williamson
  • Senior Board Club Person Of The Year – Adrian Byrne.

Thank you to the Keating Family for presenting the Minor Board Club Person Of the Year the David Keating Memorial Cup and to the Cup sponsors Phillip & Judy Butler.

Well done to everyone who received these awards and the club would like to thank Tommy Harrell for attending and to all the members who showed their support. Apparently everyone behaved with the exception of Seamus Carr who spent the whole night strutting his stuff!!!

Underage

The U14’s travelled to Mitcham on Saturday and lost their game to a strong Round Towers team, while the U10’s attended a Go Games Blitz at Taras with an A and B team, the A team won 3 games and drew 1 and the B team and won 3 and lost 2. Thank you Jim Rice and Vincent Healy for their help and everyone who supported the games. Thanks to the Taras for organising the blitz. The U10’s are in action again this Saturday at Mitcham.
